Harvest Assembly
Dear Parents and carers,
During the Autumn term and around September/October is when we look at Harvest as one of our main events of the year. We hold special assemblies to look at what Harvest means and what we can do as a school, for the needy, as part of our charity work. Once again we are supporting the charity Lifeshare, who help the homeless living on the streets of Manchester, by donating our collection of cans of soup to them alongside St Agnes church. The service for Harvest will be held at the church on Sunday 6 October where you can also donate food to.
In these very difficult times I know that our families are so generous and love the opportunity to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Please send your child with a CAN OF SOUP, next week, so we can make a valuable contribution to the community of Longsight and Manchester.
Thank you for your generosity.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Uddin
